  28. Sorry,  Mr. Dane,  although you indicate a very high level of MIDI
  29. knowledge,  you are incorrect!  MIDI data is serial data and never
  30. has been parallel data therefore a MIDI interface connects to the
  31. SERIAL port,  not the parallel port.

  33. I assume you use 31250 as a baud rate to connect to your modem with
  34. total success.  Most of us who actually do use a MIDI interface use
  35. 31250 as the MIDI baud rate.

  38. to have a chat with the "all-knowing" Mr. Dane.
